Götz Faude bases his counselling practice on his many years’ experience as a trial lawyer. This enables him to identify in advance legal problems that arise outside the legal school and to develop avoidance strategies.

In this process, he considers it essential to get to know how his clients think and act, and this is the yardstick by which he provides advice. As a legal adviser he sees himself at the side of the client, who ultimately decides the strategy to achieve the goal sought.

In his professional career as a lawyer, Götz Faude first concerned himself with copyright and competition law, later focusing on employment law (Expert Counsel since 1996). In recent years he has augmented his portfolio with the management of sizeable mandates in the fields of commercial and company law.

For several years now Götz Faude has held supervisory board seats in service companies. In addition, he is engaged in sport and, among other things, was President of the Berlin Hockey Association for eight years.

Industrial property rights (protection of intellectual property, trademark law, competition law, licensing law)
Law on freehold apartments (drafting deeds of partition, advising property owners associations and property managers, and representing them in court)
